Specialized milling machine for the efficient production of cross bar joints.

The cross bar milling machine KSF-mini incorporates STEGHERR’s extensive experience in the construction of these specialized machines for cross bar joints.

With the KSF-mini, all cross bar joints commonly needed in practice can be manufactured quickly and with a precise fit. Even pre-profiled muntins can be machined on the KSF-mini. Precision milling is achieved as the workpiece is clamped and machined on three sides in a single setup.

Tool drive is provided via two three-phase motors; pneumatic clamping for the workpieces.

The profile cutter is configured to match the rail width. The saw blades, used to trim the joint, can be adjusted to the profile cutter dimensions using spacer rings.

The machine is designed for a maximum workpiece cross-section of 56 x 46 mm.
