TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Stainless materials such as V2A 304ss or V4A 316ss can be used, depending on the preferred surface treatment. The side walls of the tank are insulated with 50 mm glass wool. Tanks that require heating can be equipped with either a coil heater or electric heating. Temperature control is digital, with monitoring included. If needed, an air mixing unit can be integrated into the tanks. For draining purposes, stainless steel ball valves are used.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
The system operates on the principle of surface cleaning and treatment by placing the material to be cleaned into baskets, which are then immersed by crane into tanks containing chemicals and/or water for a specified period. The aim is to remove any existing oil film from the metal surface and to create a thin film layer, thereby making the material more receptive to painting and more resistant to external influences.
AREAS OF APPLICATION AND ADVANTAGES:
The automotive sector, domestic appliance sector, lighting sector, and general mechanical engineering are among the fields suited for this system. It is ideal where continuous production is not required, or where high and consistent quality must be achieved with reduced labor input – particularly in facilities where no alternative solutions are available due to the form and size of the material, or where very high capacities are not feasible. Chemical and temperature values can be monitored and regulated via optional automation.
APPLICATION:
Surface cleaning applications of the immersion type vary according to each sector’s preferences and required specifications.
The two main application types are:
- Iron phosphate surface treatment
- Zinc phosphate surface treatment
In addition, the system can be used for pure cleaning and degreasing applications.
Optional equipment for the immersion tank includes:
* a drying oven
* 2 stainless steel baskets
DRYING OVEN:
In general, the operating principle of drying ovens, which form the final step of immersion-type surface cleaning units, is similar to that of box ovens. However, to be compatible with immersion-type surface cleaning systems, the oven’s lid sections are arranged at the top, and the surface-cleaned parts are dried in the same basket. In this drying system, parts are loaded into the drying oven after the cleaning process and are ready for coating once dry.
