THE PRECISE 3-ROLL BENDING MACHINE

When developing this compact, mobile horizontal bending machine, the focus was clearly on producing dimensionally accurate spirals, such as handrails for spiral staircases. This is considered the supreme discipline, as two interdependent variables (radius and pitch) must be combined into a precise geometry in a single bending operation. The interplay of tube calculations on the PC, their implementation on the bending machine, and monitoring via measuring devices with final adjustment of bending values ensure accurate, precise bending. With just a few easy inputs into the PC tube calculation program, the local printer provides a printout supporting the calculation of all necessary bending and correction data for operating the machine. A new, powerful drive concept enables stepless adjustment of the bending speed, requiring only a 230 V (single-phase) power supply. Hardened steel tools and surface-friendly hard plastic tools are available. To ensure optimal feed even for tight bending radii, all three bending shafts are driven. The drive concept proves itself in demanding daily work, whether working on flat stock, bending tubes or profiles. Customers of the Bending System 4800, 5000, and 6000 can purchase the roll bending unit without the drive. The roll bending unit, designated RB43, can be adapted to the 4800, 5000, and 6000 systems via the bending shaft. In this case, the machines function as the drive unit.
