For safe workpiece feed, a parallel-sprung steel pressure roller is located at the machine infeed, while rubber pressure rollers are positioned between the sanding units. Calibration Unit (R): The calibration unit features a grooved rubber contact roller with proven hardness, ideal for calibration tasks and capable of handling high removal rates if required. The contact roller height is continuously adjustable to compensate for the thickness of the applied abrasive. Segmented Sanding Pad (E): With the E-Plus configuration, the fine sanding unit features a segmented, electronically controlled sanding pad (instead of a pneumatic system), with a sensor width of 35 mm. This allows for even greater precision when fine sanding workpiece edges.
