The scrap is compacted against the front wall and cut by the horizontally moving tool carrier through the blades on the end wall. As the tool carriage moves horizontally, the processed material is pushed out through the blades at the front of the chamber. When returning to the rear position, the loaded scrap shifts by its own weight into the interior of the shear. Scrap shears are available in various configurations to suit customer requirements, and the output size can be selected (for new orders). Inspection and test operation are possible.

Toleranties Na demontage worden de toleranties van alle stalen componenten gemeten en waar nodig opnieuw gelast. Dit geldt ten minste voor de volgende onderdelen: • Presschuif, • Frame, • Perskanaal, • Voorpersklep Na demontage en inspectie wordt de presschuif opnieuw opgelast en voorzien van nieuwe schuifwielen. De beschermroosters en de voorpersklep worden deukvrij gemaakt en waar nodig gerepareerd.
