For finish sanding (smoothing, deburring, and edge rounding) or intermediate sanding of profiled window bars
- Finishing and intermediate sanding machine with eight sanding flap units:
2 top surface units (co-current/counter-current)
2 bottom surface units (co-current/counter-current)
4 profile units arranged diagonally: top right, bottom right, top left, bottom left, all counter-current
- Linear guidance of all sanding units via linear ball bearing sets on hardened shafts
- Time-controlled immersion of all counter-rotating sanding units directly above incoming workpiece edges to prevent over-sanding of primer on end grain edges. Thanks to the immersion function, the units can be set deeper into profiles.
- Time-controlled withdrawal of co-rotating units
- Motorized workpiece thickness adjustment via push-button height adjustment
- Display of workpiece thickness via digital readout with modern magnetic tape system
- Variable sanding flap speed via frequency inverter to adapt sanding intensity to different primers, adjustable between 200-1000 rpm
- Workpiece width detection at machine infeed with automatic adjustment of left sanding units to current workpiece width
- Profile selection via selector switch at machine infeed and automatic adjustment of sanding flap units to selected profile
- Modern PLC control for easy machine operation
