THE ECONOMICAL BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII:

The bending machine with a free-standing bending head can be easily converted for complex geometries to right-hand or left-hand bending. The plug-in bending tools allow for rapid changeover to different tube sizes. A rapid-action hydraulic system for reducing ancillary times is a key factor in series production.

The clamping pressure for tube clamping can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control system (expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store an almost unlimited number of programs for bending angles, lengths, and rotation angles for up to 50 bending sequences per tube length. For monitoring springback values, a freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available.

The machine offers 2 operating modes: In "Simple Bending" mode, the length and rotation of the bends relative to each other are automatically displayed. In "Controlled Bending" mode, the data is pre-set and a permanent actual/target comparison is carried out during the bending process.

This eliminates mispositioning within a tolerance window, thereby minimizing operator-induced error rates. General error messages are shown in full text on the large display. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically withdrawn early upon reaching the bending angle.

The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel support offers advantages for on-site installation as well as for special designs with very large tube feed, and is also available in a stationary version with a tool and mandrel rod organization system. The cost-effective alternative to fully-controlled CNC machines.
