Decoiler construction and operation:
The decoiler is constructed from heavy-duty, electro-welded, and precision-machined components. The expanding mandrel can unwind to the left and right. Expansion is hydraulic, controlled from the operator’s panel. The decoiler is fitted with a three-phase motor that allows manual forward and reverse rotation of the decoiler hub in setup mode. In automatic mode, strip can be pulled off by preset pressure or continuously unwound using loop control.

Control description:
The decoiler is driven by a frequency-controlled three-phase motor. The loop control between the decoiler and subsequent machine operates contact-free with an ultrasonic sensor. Analog control ensures smooth, continuous operation of the decoiler. All system functions can be operated in setup and automatic modes.
