Integrated Pick-and-Place System for Industrial Assembly Technology

The DS Place was designed to reduce the high integration effort associated with conventional pick-and-place solutions. In many projects, robots, feeding systems, vision systems, and controls are sourced separately and integrated via interfaces. This results in increased coordination efforts and prolonged commissioning times.

The DS Place is structured as a coordinated all-in-one system.

System components:

- SCARA Robot
- Camera-based part detection
- Automatic feeding via material hopper and pick conveyor
- Integrated PLC control system

Operating principle:
Components are automatically fed from the material hopper onto the pick conveyor, detected by camera, and then precisely transferred to a discharge conveyor or to a downstream system.

- Suitable for metal, rubber, wood, and plastic components
