Water degassing (deaeration) unit for the removal of oxygen from drinking water, predominantly built in 1995. The system operates using a two-stage cold degassing process via CO2 counterflow stripping and consists of the following components: - 2 degassing vessels connected in series - Vacuum pump with separator - 7,000 L (70 hl) pressure tank (Gross, 2018) for storing degassed water at up to 4 bar overpressure - Centrifugal pumps - CO2 dosing via needle valve - Pipe panel, various pipelines, valves, fittings, measurement and control technology - Control cabinet with Simatic S5 control system
