The U-162 small parts counter was specifically developed for use as a filler on automatic bagging machines and is ideal for counting repeat batches of the same product type. Integrated with ICI vision-based bulk counting technology, the U-162B part counter can accurately count an unparalleled variety of small parts sized from 1 mm to 25 mm without the need for tooling changes when switching objects.

Complex-shaped objects, including open-formed items, can be easily counted, making the U-162B small parts counting machine an ideal system for the aerospace, defense, medical, electronics, hardware, and other industries. Its unique ability to count multiple items in parallel results in counting speeds of up to 200 objects per second, delivering results similar to weight-based systems while maintaining higher accuracy compared to traditional counters.
