Washing System:
The core of the PT series: inside the machine, two S-shaped wash fields operate. Due to optimized flow dynamics and special nozzle geometry, they ensure complete water distribution for outstanding washing results – with a final rinse water volume starting at 2.2 liters per wash cycle. Great attention has been paid to quality down to the last detail: robust stainless steel shafts guarantee optimal rotation and contribute to the high reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable Wash Pressure Adjustment:
Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes standard with variable water pressure control: VarioPower adjusts the washing pressure precisely to the type of dishes and the level of soiling. Delicate glasses and fragile bowls are washed with reduced, and more robust tableware with higher water pressure. Thus, stubborn dirt is reliably removed, and light or sensitive items are gently washed and securely held in place.

Wastewater Heat Recovery:
A clear advantage of the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery comes as standard. The heat exchanger uses the energy from the wastewater to pre-heat the incoming cold water supply. The benefits: faster heating between wash cycles, conservation of resources, and up to 10% savings in energy costs.

Exhaust Air Heat Recovery:
With the Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus, exhaust air heat recovery is included. In addition to the standard wastewater heat recovery, there is an exhaust air heat exchanger. It harnesses the energy from the warm water vapor inside the machine to preheat the cold inlet water. When opening the machine, hardly any warm, moist vapor escapes into the room. This saves up to 15% in energy costs per wash cycle.
