The GRECON HS 120 line is designed for throughfeed finger joint machining of short wood elements and joining them into continuous strips up to approx. 6,100 mm in length.
Used in the production of:

- Structural wood components
- Solid wood laths and semi-finished products
D) Personnel and Operators
The GRECON HS 120 line with ABB automatic infeed (2 palletizing cells, alternating operation) requires only 1 operator.
E) Production Process
1. Pallets with pre-sorted wooden elements are placed in the loading cell.
2. The ABB robot picks elements from the pallets and feeds them onto the GRECON HS 120 buffer conveyor.
3. The line mills male and female finger joints in a throughfeed process.
4. The automatic applicator applies glue (controlled by the GlueEye Vision system).
5. The pre-assembly station connects elements to the required length.
6. The cross-cut saw trims the strip to the desired length and feeds it to the press.
7. The press holds the element until the glue is fully set.
8. Finished strips are placed onto the scissor lift, undergo quality control, and are then transported to the roller storage.
