The machine has been fully inspected by us and runs flawlessly, see video. Knives and pusher plate were already replaced by the previous owner. The V-belt was replaced by us during inspection. 1,741 operating hours stated.

Description:
The WEIMA high-performance shredders, with their flexible range of applications, can process all kinds of wood materials (hardwood, softwood, chipboard, MDF, plywood, veneer scraps, etc.) into fuel chips and achieve enormous volume reduction of material, especially with bulky items.

Functionality:
The machine is equipped with a large feed hopper and can be loaded via conveyor belt or manually. The hopper can be customized to individual needs and ensures continuous and cost-effective material feeding without the need for manual intervention.

The hydraulically controlled pusher automatically and load-dependently feeds the wood waste to be shredded into the rotor's cutting area. The internal pusher guides are made of highly wear-resistant plastic (polyamide) and can be adjusted. The hydraulic cylinders are mounted in a floating (cardanic) manner to prevent lateral forces on the piston seals.

The patented and profiled V-rotor, made from solid steel, has a diameter of 252 mm and operates at a rotor speed of 80–120 rpm. The concave-ground, aggressive, and four-times reversible knives/cutting crowns sit in milled knife pockets on special knife holders. This patented system guarantees, through its precise reduction of the cutting gap between counter knife and rotor, high throughput, low energy consumption, and optimal discharge of the shredded material.

The screen mounted under the rotor determines the chip size (10–100 mm). On request, a hydraulically opening screen basket is also available.

Power transmission from the electric motors is via V-belts to a heavy-duty gearbox, mounted on one side of the rotor shaft.
