This unit continuously ensures that preforms are inverted before passing (neck down) in front of the heating modules, and then turned again. During the heating phase, preforms are rotated and their necks are shielded from heat to optimize temperature distribution without deforming the neck. Heating is provided by 10 heating modules. Each unit can be fitted with up to 8 horizontally stacked, air-cooled infrared lamps. The heating power of each of the 8 lamp zones is adjustable to optimize the thermal profile. These zones are regulated on all SBO models. After heating, infrared temperature measurement of the preform allows further regulation of controlled zones, ensuring uniform preform temperature is maintained.

Mit vier Blasstationen erreicht die Maschine eine Produktionsleistung von bis zu 6.800 Flaschen pro Stunde. Sie verarbeitet Flaschenformate von 0,1 bis 2,5 Litern. Die solide, übersichtlich aufgebaute Konstruktion der KSB 4L sorgt für hohe Flexibilität im Betrieb und einen stark reduzierten Wartungsaufwand. Die angebotene Maschine hat bislang 22.000 Betriebsstunden absolviert und ist mit zwei Originalformen – für 0,5 l und 1 l – ausgestattet. Heizsystem und Preformzuführung der KOSME KSB 4L Das Heizsystem der KSB 4L besteht aus vier Heizmodulen und acht Heizbereichen mit einer Heizleistung von 46 kW. Ein patentiertes Positioniersystem platziert die Infrarotlampen präzise, sodass die Preforms optimal und effizient beheizt werden – ohne ein Öffnen des Ofens. Das Förderbandsystem sorgt für die Orientierung und Positionierung der Preforms, was den Heizprozess effizient gestaltet und Rüstzeiten minimiert. Blasvorgang und Produktionsleistung Das pneumatische Preform-Trennsystem der KOSME KSB 4L passt den Abstand der Preforms von 40 mm im Ofen auf 120 mm im Werkzeug an. Die Blasvorgänge erfolgen in vollständig austauschbaren Stationen, sodass verschiedene Flaschendurchmesser flexibel verarbeitet werden können. Das Transfersystem bringt die erhitzten Preforms in die Blasformen, wo sie gehalst, gereckt und geblasen werden. Jede Kavität erzielt so eine Ausbringung von bis zu 1.700 Flaschen pro Stunde – für maximale Präzision und Stabilität. Verbrauch und Energiebedarf Die KSB 4L arbeitet mit einer Spannung von 3 x 230/400 V bei 50/60 Hz, einer installierten Leistung von 56 kW und einem durchschnittlichen Verbrauch von 36 kW. Das Druckluftsystem hält einen Arbeitsdruck von 10 bar und einen Blasdruck bis 40 bar, mit einem Verbrauch von 470 Nm³/h. Das Kühlsystem benötigt 6,6 m³/h Wasser mit einer Zulauftemperatur von 5–7 °C, was einer Kühlleistung von 20,8 kW entspricht.
