Piston Metering System DOS P
for a wide range of applications
Scheugenpflug piston metering systems operate based on the principle of volumetric dosing. This means the dispensed material quantity is mechanically determined by the geometry and stroke of the corresponding cylinders. Filling of the cylinder with potting material is performed by the relevant material supply unit. When processing a two-component medium, the volume of both cylinders simultaneously establishes the mixing ratio between the resin and hardener components. The metering pistons push the two components in separate channels simultaneously towards the outlet valve, where they are only mixed into a homogeneous reactive medium in the static mixing tube.
The DOS P016 / 050 / 100 / 300 / TCA piston metering systems are highly precise volumetric dispensing systems designed for processing 1K and 2K materials, covering a broad range of requirements. Precisely dimensioned metering cylinders enable reproducible material volumes to be dispensed.
For 2K materials, the parallel discharge of both cylinders into the shared mixing tube ensures a consistently constant mixing ratio and maximum process reliability. At the same time, it is possible to gently convey pressure-, moisture-, or shear-sensitive potting materials without fear of altering the material. Users also benefit from easy and rapid maintenance, long service life, and significantly reduced maintenance costs. With optional features such as valve monitoring, mixing tube heating, or metering head heating, these systems can be flexibly adapted to specific requirements.
