Schaublin 150

For sale is a Schaublin 150 precision lathe from Switzerland – one of the best conventional lathes ever built. The machine has been overhauled. The spindle has been newly fitted with bearings, with the bearing set ordered directly from Schaublin. The slideways have been hand-scraped. Turning tests with 30mm round steel over a length of 200mm show cylindrical accuracy within 0.002mm.

The machine comes with a comprehensive range of accessories:
