About the machine:

Offered here is a Deckel FP4M Active universal milling machine in excellent condition. The machine has minimal backlash and all slides move smoothly. Even at maximum spindle speeds, the milling machine runs smoothly. The machine features hydraulic clamping. The FP4M has only been used occasionally in a governmental training facility. On this newer FP4 model, the feed rate is steplessly adjustable in all three axes, and there is rapid traverse available for each axis. A major advantage is the Heidenhain 3-axis active digital readout. With this Heidenhain position control, you can input dimensions which the machine then automatically moves to. An oil change has been performed; mechanically and electrically inspected. The Heidenhain digital readout system makes operation easier and even more precise.
