The offered (fish mask design) mask machine combines efficiency and safety features with an optimized fit. These product characteristics are realized, among other things, thanks to the use of ultrasonic technology, an intuitive HMI with touchscreen for straightforward and clear operation, and a robust, optimized steel unwind unit.
Process steps at a glance:
- Feeding of the filter material via a web edge control system, as well as the nose wire; uniform welding of the mask with subsequent folding and separation of the basic body.
- The next process step involves attaching the ear loops using ultrasonic technology. Optionally, a camera inspection, stacking unit, and a flow pack machine can be ordered additionally.
In detail:
- Welded unwinding unit with a total of 4 manual tension shafts, magnetic powder brakes, and web edge control system for feeding the filter material.
- Nose wire is fed by another unwinder.
- The use of discs in combination with slim aluminum profiles allows clear visibility into production, while fully protecting the operator.
- Upon request, we are pleased to offer various printing systems to apply legally required markings to your masks.
- The use of ultrasonic technology and durable materials such as titanium guarantees increased machine availability compared to conventional materials.
- High precision through the use of servo-driven motors.
- Uniform material infeed and guidance as well as separation by means of a rotary cutter with lateral web output.
- High-resolution, user-friendly HMIs with touchscreen.
- Mask body welding via ultrasonic technology with subsequent folding die and welding of upper and lower surfaces.
- Precise separation of the mask from the web using a rotary cutter, followed by mask output and lateral ejection of the web.
- Subsequent earstrap embedding by ultrasonic technology.
- Optional: Camera inspection with good/reject detection
- Optional: Output to a stacker
- Optional: Output to a flow pack station for individual mask wrapping
