ZEROLABOR ROBOTIC SYSTEM for Timber Frame Construction

The Randek ZEROLABOR robotic system is a production cell in which various work processes are carried out fully automatically by robots. The system is flexible and can be configured according to customer requirements. The robotic cell can be integrated into existing production lines or operate as a standalone unit. The system enables the nearly fully automated production of walls, floors, and roofs in timber frame construction.

Automated processes:

- Panel handling. The panels are picked up from different stacks using vacuum suction and placed onto the timber frame construction as per the CAD file. The system is flexible and can handle various panel sizes.
- Fastening of panels by screwing, stapling, and/or nailing.
- Creation of cut-outs for electrical installations, windows, etc.
- The system can process 1, 2, or 3 types of panels.
- Component marking via inkjet printing.
- Gluing.
- Waste handling, e.g., gypsum board and OSB waste is deposited at defined locations or, if required, directly into the waste container.

- Effective dust extraction.
- Alignment of the component with the workstation table.
- Alignment of studs before nailing, precise placement of nails/staples into the studs.
