STANDARD CONDITIONS
The plant is designed for the production of 160 t/h of asphalt mix with a finished product at an initial moisture content of 4% and 160°C under the following standard conditions:
• Aggregate temperature at dryer inlet: 10°C.
• Sea level altitude
• Average density of feed aggregates: 1,650 kg/m³
• Heavy fuel oil no. 6 calorific value ≥ 9,200 kCal/kg
• Heavy fuel oil no. 4 calorific value ≥ 9,700 kCal/kg
• Calorific value for diesel oil ≥ 10,200 kCal/kg
• Natural gas calorific value ≥ 7,600 kCal/kg
• Temperature increase of hot aggregates: 160 K
• Residual moisture content in the mix: 0.3%
• Max. aggregate size: 40 mm
• 35% material passing through 3 mm sieve
• Material is non-porous and non-hygroscopic with normal shape
• Production tolerance rate according to environmental and parameter conditions: ±4%
COLD AGGREGATE BUNKERS
• Four cold aggregate bins made from 5 mm St 37 steel plate must be provided, each with an approximate capacity of 20 m³ and manufactured separately.
• The bins must have a 800 mm high top extension fabricated from 6 mm plate to prevent material overflow.
• Bunker discharge must be equipped with a movable unit.
• Discharge flow from each bin must be optionally frequency-controlled (speed-controlled) and adjustable via the computer screen.

• The discharge rate for each bunker must be settable via manual gates that can be mounted to each bin.
• A warning system must be in place for aggregate run-out from the bunkers, with a warning indicator on the computer screen to alert the operator.
• Vibrator motor, controlled from the computer screen, must be installed to facilitate material flow and prevent clogging when handling fine materials.
• A conveyor belt system must be installed under each bin to ensure reliable material flow.
• Each bunker must be fitted with modular grids made from 10x50 mm plates with 10 mm diameter.
• Silo loading width must be 3000x2400 mm.
• An emergency stop rope system must be provided.
• Possible belt faults must be displayed on the computer screen.
2. SUB-BUNKER – COLD AGGREGATE COLLECTING BELT
• The horizontal belt must transport material drawn from each bin separately and in a controlled fashion to the inclined dryer feed belt, and provide material flow to a plant with 160 t/h capacity.
• The rubber belt must be 10 mm thick, 800 mm wide, 4-ply with EP 125 class fabric.
• Belt start/stop must be controlled from the computer screen. For emptying bins at the end of season, the belt must be run in reverse independently from other units.
• The horizontal belt chassis must be made from steel construction, ensuring smooth operation and equipped with a belt tensioning system.
• Each end of the belt must have a separation system.
• Drive drum must be rubber-coated and have a 1-degree taper.
