The model is equipped with a swiveling arm adjustable from 0-60°, with saw guides based on carbide inserts. The robust frame design ensures precise and quiet operation. Machine Features The horizontal metal band saw with a swiveling arm allows cutting perpendicular to the axis of the material as well as at any angle between 0 and 60°. The material can be fed manually or with any mechanical device, while the tool feed is fully automatic. The blade guides are fitted with special carbide plates and bearings, significantly enhancing blade guidance, lifespan, straightness, and the quality of the cut. Carbide guidance greatly reduces both machine and blade wear. The machine is equipped with a high-efficiency coolant pump in a closed-loop system. The saw arm, made of a single cast-iron piece, combined with a 27 mm wide saw blade, allows for repeated series cutting of both profiles and solid materials. The vise is mounted on an adjustable bed and features quick clamping. Blade guides fitted with hard metal (carbide) plates and a rolling bearing system ensure cutting precision and straightness—carbide-guided blade supports are crucial for quality results. The arm is equipped with an automatic blade tension sensor and is tilted at 25 degrees to prolong blade life. A cleaning brush, mounted underneath the arm, ensures blade cleanliness and effective operation. Power is transmitted through a worm gear drive. A cast-iron work table with a swiveling arm and a separate control panel is attached to the base. During cutting, the main movement is the saw blade’s feed, and the arm’s descent serves as the feed direction. The descent (cutting) speed is regulated by a hydraulic cylinder. Feed speed is controlled from the saw’s control panel. The operator can select one of two blade speeds: 37.5 or 75 m/min. In the lower arm position (after finishing the cut), the blade drive shuts off automatically. Safety is ensured by blade guards and micro-switches stopping the motor once the cutting cycle ends or if any guard is opened. Additional protection cuts off the machine automatically if the blade breaks. The drive is transmitted via a worm gear motor. The motor has a thermal fuse, protecting it from overheating during operation.
