CORMAK HBS275 Bandsaw for cutting pipes, profiles, and bars is widely used in all locksmith workshops where precision, quality, and cutting speed matter. This model is equipped with a swiveling arm (0-60°), and the saw guides are based on carbide inserts. The frame design ensures precise and quiet operation.

Machine Features

The horizontal bandsaw for metal with a swiveling arm allows cutting perpendicular to the axis of the material and at any angle from 0 to 60°. Material can be fed manually or by any mechanical device; however, tool feed is automatic. The blade guides are fitted with special carbide plates and bearings. This significantly influences the band guidance, blade life, straightness, accuracy, and cutting quality. Carbide guidance greatly reduces machine and blade wear. The machine is fitted with an efficient coolant pump with a closed-loop cooling system.

The saw arm is made from a single-piece cast iron, and with the 27 mm wide cutting blade used in this bandsaw, allows for series cuts of both profiles and solid materials. The vise is placed on an adjustable bed and features a quick-release clamp. The blade guides have hard metal carbide plates and a bearing system. It is specifically THE CARBIDE GUIDES that are responsible for cutting precision and straightness.

The arm is fitted with an automatic blade tension sensor and is inclined at 25 degrees, increasing blade life. A cleaning brush is mounted underneath the arm to ensure optimal blade cleanliness and operation. The drive is transmitted via a worm gear.

The base is fitted with a cast iron working table with a swiveling arm and a control panel on a separate arm. During cutting, the primary cutting movement is the translation of the blade, while the feed is by the descending arm. The arm descent speed (cutting speed) is adjusted by a hydraulic cylinder.

Feed speed is regulated on the control panel. Two cutting speeds are available: 37.5 and 75 m/min. In the arm's lower position (after cutting), the drive to the cutting blade is switched off automatically. Safety is ensured by blade guards and micro-switches that stop the motor after the cutting cycle ends or any guard is opened. Additional protection results from the automatic machine switch-off in the event of a broken blade.

The machine drive is transmitted by a motor with a worm gearbox.

The motor features a thermal fuse to prevent overheating during operation.
