Overview
This 2003-built Krones Robot 3A de-palletizing robot is designed for the automatic handling of filled beverage crates on Euro pallets. The system is used for unloading complete layers of crates from pallets. The machine handles 1.0-litre PET crates in an 8-crate layer pattern and is configured for crates with dimensions of 400 x 300 x 310 mm on Euro pallets measuring 1200 x 800 x 144 mm. During operation, a mechanical gripper head lifts an entire layer of beverage crates from the pallet and moves it horizontally within the unloading area. The system is equipped with an MTS 10 control panel, which displays the program sequence and pallet handling status. The working area is secured by safety fences and access doors.
