Euro-Komplex EK-24

Device (FILTER EK-24) for the extraction and filtration of sawdust, dust, and contaminants generated during the processing of wood and wood-based materials.
The device is manufactured by the Polish company Euro-Komplex, specializing in the design, production, and assembly of comprehensive dust extraction systems used across various branches of industry, particularly in woodworking and furniture manufacturing plants.
The filter efficiently removes contaminants from several machines simultaneously, for example: circular and panel saws, planers, four-side moulders, edgebanders, CNC machines, milling plotters, or sanders.

The robust and solid filter housing is made of hot-dip galvanized or powder-coated 2 mm steel, while the inlet tunnel and reinforcements are made of 3 mm steel. Construction elements are bolted with 8.8 bolts and Teflon inserts. Notably, the basket screen used is homogeneous and smooth with no welded elements, which facilitates air and waste fraction flow, preventing deposits inside the basket.
EK-24 is equipped with a 0.09 kW electrovibrator in an ATEX compliant system for cleaning filter bags made of antistatic and waterproof material (350 g/m²) with an air permeability of 240 l/dm²/min. The cleaning system is fully automated and operates on time cycles tailored to the type of material being extracted.
A recirculation flap (summer/winter damper) allows filtered, clean air to be returned to the production hall during the winter, significantly helping maintain optimal temperature and resulting in noticeable energy savings.
The WTK fans used in the EK-24 feature self-cleaning impellers and a reinforced housing, ensuring long-lasting, stable operation.
Electrical control is provided by a central unit equipped with protections and timing controls for the electrovibrator and fan motor. The control cabinet features a frequency inverter, enabling adjustment of the fan motor speed for highly precise control.
The rotary airlock valve isolates the filter zone from the external environment, blocking air passage but allowing sawdust to fall freely into the collection bag without air turbulence. The valve is equipped with an impact-dampening system to protect against damage if large solid objects enter the unit.
A dry riser fire system is installed on the filter for rapid delivery of water or extinguishing agent to the sealed filter chamber via internal sprinklers. The system is fitted with a fire department connection compatible with firefighting equipment or a direct hydrant hose.
The filter is also equipped with an explosion relief device designed to relieve pressure in case of an internal explosion. It is intended for devices such as hoppers, silos, separators, filters, sorters, etc., where explosive atmospheres may occur. By venting the explosion pressure to the environment, internal pressure is reduced below the permitted resistance level of the protected equipment.
