Nitrogen inertization with residual oxygen monitoring:
The test chamber is first purged with a high volume of N2 until the
oxygen content is below 3%. It then switches to a base level supply (approx. 10% of the full purge rate).
Base level nitrogen flow is measured, displayed by a flowmeter, and monitored via a limit switch.
O2 monitoring continuously extracts gas from the test chamber through a flame arrester, directing it to an O2 sensor which checks the residual oxygen content. The gas is then returned to the chamber through a second flame arrester. The exhaust pump is monitored by a volume flow meter. Further details are available in the Dräger manual in the appendix.
The gas system is currently deactivated!
