Numerical control with bSolid software
The multi-document software application in a Windows environment enables the design of the finished product, the definition of its processes, work planning, simulation of machining operations on the machine’s 3D model, and generation of the required machine programs.
bSolid - 3-axis machining
bSolid - 5-axis machining module for surface processing using 5-axis units and interpolated movements on all 5 available axes (X, Y, Z, C, B). The module includes the following commands:
• Surface assignment for three-dimensional roughing and finishing operations
• Spreading or projecting a path onto a curved surface
• Machining on a single plane
• Following 2D or 3D curves with any type of tool

Working areas:
X = 5055 mm; Y = 1650 mm (may vary depending on configuration)
Z = 200 mm with modules H=74 mm
Z = 245 mm with modules H=29 mm
Loadable part in Y:
* 1650 mm, with a thickness of up to 60 mm on modules with a height of 74 mm
* 1600 mm, with a thickness over 60 mm on modules with a height of 74 mm.
10 ATS levels – 40 carts.
Scope of supply includes:
• 2 aluminium rails (No. 1 left and No. 1 right) on which the lateral stops slide.
• 10 aluminium support tables.
The tables glide on hardened and ground linear guides with ball bearing guides. Locking is provided on both linear guides, front and rear, by four pneumatic cylinders. Control is via a button in front of the working area. The carriages glide on steel guides located above the extrusion.
Pneumatic locking system, divided into 2 locking zones in X
Automatic positioning (EPS) for support tables. "EPS" (Electronic Positioning System): Device for automatic positioning of the working surfaces and carts via NC, complete with locking devices to eliminate possible operating errors.
Rear row stops, with 140 mm stroke
Intermediate row stops, positioned at 405 mm, with 140 mm stroke.
Front row stops, positioned at 1460 mm, with 140 mm stroke
4 lateral stops with 140 mm stroke (2 right + 2 left), with system
2 additional lateral stops with 140 mm stroke (1 right + 1 left).
Sensor to check whether the stops are lowered
12 clamping devices for holding narrow workpieces
6 loading aid bar lifts for H=74 mm modules
5A configuration, for Rover B. Configuration for high productivity and flexibility thanks to the two operating units (4 and 5 axes) and the option of simultaneous tool changes.
Includes the axes and carriages for the movement of the main operating units. Comes with 2 inverters.
Second Y-axis. Enables separation of the front and rear Y carriages with independent drives. The two Y carriages achieve a maximum speed of 118 m/min.
13.2 kW (17.7 HP) electric spindle, HSK F63 interface, air-cooled. Main features:
• 11 kW (14.7 HP) from 12,000 to 15,000 rpm in S1 operation.
• 13.2 kW (17.7 HP) from 12,000 to 15,000 rpm in S6 operation.
• Ceramic bearings.
• Right and left-hand rotation.
• Speed programmable from 1,000–24,000 rpm via NC.
• Pneumatic release operated over a prismatic linear guide with ball bearings. A cover is included for chip extraction, with 6 selectable positions.
