Semi-automatic tray sealer with modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and vacuum function. Prior to sealing the tray, a protective atmosphere can be created by injecting a protective gas mixture and/or generating a vacuum. By displacing oxygen, for example, food products remain fresh and have a longer shelf life. On request, a skin-vacuum module can be integrated into the packaging machine at an additional cost. This makes the AMTEC tray sealer particularly suitable for the food processing industry. Ribbon printer for best-before date or batch number is included in the price. PLC by OMRON, touchscreen by WEINVIEW, servo motors by Panasonic, pneumatic valves and cylinders by AIRTAC. - Specifications: 2-lane version for 2 trays (processing of 4 or 6 trays per cycle possible at extra charge); sealing chamber size: L350xW(100-400)mm; maximum machine throughput in idle mode: 12 cycles/min (sealing only) or 5 cycles/min (vacuum/modified atmosphere generation + sealing); gas mixture: N2 or N2+CO2; protective gas supply pump capacity: 63m³/h; machine dimensions: L1360xW740xH1530mm; weight: approx. 600kg.
