Semi-automatic tray sealer with protective gas and vacuum function. Before sealing the tray, a modified atmosphere can be created by injecting a protective gas mixture and/or generating a vacuum. By displacing oxygen, for example, foods remain fresh and have a longer shelf life. A skin vacuum module can be integrated into the packaging machine for an additional charge. This makes the AMTEC tray sealer particularly attractive for the food processing industry. Ribbon printer for best-before date or batch number is included in the price. PLC from OMRON, touchscreen from WEINVIEW, servo motors from Panasonic, pneumatic valves and cylinders from AIRTAC. - Specifications: 2-lane version for 2 trays (processing 4 or 6 trays per cycle available at extra cost); sealing chamber size: L450xW(100-400)mm; max. machine cycle rate (no load): 12 cycles/min (sealing only) or 5 cycles/min (vacuum/protective gas generation and sealing); gas mixture: N2 or N2+CO2; pump output for protective gas supply: 63m³/h; machine dimensions: L1360xW840xH1530mm; weight: approx. 670kg.
