Packaging machine with vacuum module for pre-made doypack pouches, block bottom bags, flat bottom bags, and other types of stand-up pouches. Compact design with horizontal production flow. Batch/date coder as well as modules for specific pouch features such as zip/press seal, screw cap (spout), and gusset shape are optionally available at an additional cost. Pouch detectors check for correct placement and complete opening of the pouch (e.g., doypack bag). As soon as the pouch is detected, the product is dispensed into the pouch via the filling nozzle. The sealing area is kept clean during this process. The vacuum cycle is executed immediately before sealing the pouch with a lance that enters the bag. The PLC-controlled machine is operated via a touch monitor. Specifications: Stainless steel housing (SS304); max. machine cycle rate (idle): 15 cycles/minute; pouch width: 100-300mm; pouch length: 100-350mm; required compressed air: 5.5 bar, 0.2 m³/min; power supply: 220V, single phase, 20 Amps.
