It has been specifically designed for precise measurement of large and heavy workpieces with a weight of up to 6,000 kg. The revolutionary bridge construction incorporates aluminium honeycomb core panels, originally developed for Formula 1 and aerospace applications.

This design offers an outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio, enhancing both the performance and speed of the Azimuth. With measuring ranges of X 1200 mm, Y 2000 or 3000 mm, and Z 1000 mm, as well as a volumetric accuracy of up to (2.6 + L/250) µm, the Azimuth ensures the highest precision.

The scale resolution is 0.1 µm. A specially developed load plate system allows heavy components to be placed directly on the granite base, transferring the load directly to the floor without affecting the metrological performance.

The user-friendly Aberlink 3D measurement software ensures a short familiarisation time, enabling precise measurements even without prior knowledge. Free software updates guarantee that the system always remains up-to-date.
