ZERMA ZPS

ZERMA single-shaft shredders of the ZPS series offer versatile applications.

They are suitable for shredding heavy and bulky components that cannot be directly reduced in size using a granulator.
The large and robust rotor of the ZPS shredder series, combined with low rotor speed and high torque, ensures low power peaks, thereby preventing high energy costs.

Single-shaft shredders from the ZPS range are designed for a wide variety of uses.
Depending on the application, the shredded material can be directly reused in the processing workflow, or it can be further granulated afterward using a granulator.

ZPS series shredders are equipped with a two-stage hydraulic system that prevents rotor blockages. The knives and knife holders are entirely bolted into the rotor for secure fixing.
Generously sized, externally mounted rotor bearings and a hydraulically swiveling screen basket are standard features on every shredder.

The machines can be expanded or upgraded with numerous options, such as rotor cooling or Hardox wear armor.

Compared to the ZSS shredder series, ZPS machines feature a more powerful ram system, optimizing the material feed between the pusher and rotor—especially for large-volume components or pipes.
