DESCRIPTION
BRIQUETTING PRESS
The press is designed for compressing secondary raw materials into briquettes (briquette shape – rectangular).

Electrical system:
Controls the hydraulic system. Equipped with four electric motors: the first (30 kW) drives the main hydraulic pumps, the second (1.1 kW) drives the cooler pump, the third (0.55 kW) rotates the oil cooling system fan, and the fourth (1.5 kW) drives the sawdust feed screw. The operation of the motors and hydraulic valves via contactors and semiconductor relays is managed by a microprocessor with expansion modules. For visualization and parameter adjustment, a liquid crystal display with control buttons is provided.
Hydraulic system:
Manages the operation of hydraulic cylinders with pumps, high and low-pressure valves, and solenoid hydraulic valves and hoses. There are three cylinders: the first (main) compacts sawdust, the second (vertical) pre-compacts the sawdust, and the third (shaping) shifts the briquette mold. The press is equipped with an oil cooling system with a pump and air cooler. Oil filtration is performed by the main high-capacity filter, a cooling system filter, and a fine-cleaning filter.
Raw material feed:
Feeding is performed via an integrated feed hopper. The raw material in the hopper is intermittently mixed to prevent bridging. The mixer is powered via a chain from the screw conveyor motor-reducer. The screw conveyor cyclically feeds material into the vertical cylinder shaft. The hopper has two raw material level sensors – lower and upper. If the hopper is enlarged, the sensors can be repositioned as needed.
Control:
Dual-mode operation – manual and automatic. All controls are installed in the electrical cabinet. Automatic mode provides standard press operation without operator intervention. Manual mode is used for adjustment, troubleshooting, returning cylinders to their initial positions, or in emergency situations. Operation is facilitated by a display installed on the electrical cabinet door that allows reading and modifying input parameters, as well as monitoring press status and errors.
