The TRUMPF TruLaser 5040 6kW laser was manufactured in 2012 in Germany by TRUMPF Maschinen Grüsch AG. The machine has been consistently serviced, upgraded, and maintained throughout its period of use.

The TRUMPF TruLaser 5040 (L18) laser cutting machine is designed for the precise cutting of sheet metal, including materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, and brass. Laser cutting is performed using a stable 6 kW laser beam, generated by a resonator with the highest energy efficiency. A range of additional systems streamline the machining process while simultaneously improving the cutting quality.

The entire machining cycle is fully automatic thanks to the automatic pallet changer system. This system enables simultaneous loading and unloading of parts during cutting, thereby increasing production efficiency and minimizing machine downtime. The TruLaser 5040 is offered together with a comprehensive range of equipment, which includes additional cutting heads and an advanced CNC controller with many useful functions.

In September 2022, a full set of quartz tubes, the entire internal optics, and the lamp were replaced. The external optics were cleaned and calibrated in September 2023. Filters and oils have been changed according to TRUMPF’s recommendations. Once a year, the water has been replaced along with flushing of the CU and AL circuits. All these procedures are documented by appropriate service reports. Original lenses for both heads and an optics case come with the machine.
