Electrohydraulic Top Drive with 4-cylinder Technology: The electrohydraulic 4-cylinder top drive utilizes proportional valves to ensure precise synchronous movement of the cylinders and minimizes deflection of the ram, which is numerically compensated. This construction provides extensive bending freedom.
2-Axis Backgauge: High-precision rack-and-pinion drive for the X and R axes allows freely programmable and steplessly adjustable backgauge depth and height for maximum positioning accuracy. Stop fingers are easily and safely repositioned in the Z direction before the bending line.
Hydraulic Lower Tool Clamping: V-dies are mounted on a special plate. Fastening: hydraulic clamping bar and hardened tensioning bar. Lateral shift: programmable.
Manual Crowning: Crowning adjustment with tensioning wedge system, set manually.
Programmable Lower Tool Shift: The lower tool can be shifted in the X direction between two positions, allowing for special bending applications.
Modern Manifold Hydraulic Block with Cylinder-Integrated Control Valves: Modern block hydraulic ensures high repeatability. Automatically switching dual pump for fast return. Press force is instantly available.
Measuring System: Centrally aligned optical rulers and temperature compensation.
TRUMPF TASC 6000: TRUMPF CNC control based on Windows XP, 2.8 GHz with two redundant hard drives and a 15” touchscreen, USB interface for printer, memory key, 2GB RAM, etc. Transparent program and tool management, conversational numeric and graphical programming at the control panel.
Energy-Efficient On-Demand Drive: The main drive is controlled by a frequency inverter, which operates only when required, thus reducing noise and power consumption during standby. During bending operations, the drive’s output is speed-controlled and matches demand.
4-Axis Backgauge System, Z1/Z2 Axes: Asymmetric CNC-controlled finger adjustment for multiple bending stations.
Additional Retractable Backgauge Finger: Preinstalled manual backgauge finger for the 4-axis system.
Upper Tool Clamping Hydraulic Upper Tool Clamping: Self-centering hydraulic clamping for upper tools. Individual tool segments are especially quick and easy to change.
CNC Crowning: Programmable via the control panel, ideal for frequent repeat programs and long bending lengths.
BendGuard Safety Device (with Block Laser): Maximum permitted Y-axis speed in foot pedal mode: 220 mm/s.
Material Handling – 1st Bending Follower Arm: Basic version with one arm, electromotor-driven and simply programmable. Aids unloading of large and heavy workpieces and prevents upward springback of thin sheets.
