It offers accurate measurement of the viscosity of transparent Newtonian liquids and gases.
Measurement principle:
A ball moves in a rolling and sliding motion inside an inclined cylindrical tube filled with the sample liquid.
The time required for the ball to travel a defined measuring distance is recorded.
By swiveling the measuring unit, the ball's return run can also be used for measurement.
The measured result is given as dynamic viscosity in mPas.
