The MSP 120 ZK briquetting press with integrated shredder consists of a hydraulic chip press and a preceding shredder, which are precisely matched to each other. The system allows for the reduction in size and compaction of chips generated during turning/milling processes. The volume is significantly reduced, and the briquettes are separated from coolants (coolant emulsion, oil) that may have been absorbed during prior machining stages.
The system consists of a feed hopper into which the material to be processed is introduced, and an integrated shredder that reduces the length of the chips.
A conveyor system continuously and gradually transports the shredded chips via a conveyor belt into the hopper of the chip press. Here, two screw conveyors transport the material into the compaction chamber.
The system includes a monitored liquid collection tank and a pump. The coolants can be returned to the production process.
Cycle control is managed via a PLC and an electronic level sensor for monitoring the fill level in the hopper.
Optionally, a tipping device for manual filling of the system can be added if required.
