The STEINER hydraulic press has been designed and manufactured with a focus on practical application. The hydraulic unit is mounted on the hydraulic tank, located behind the press. Control blocks and valves are easily accessible from the outside and can be replaced quickly if needed. The hydraulic radial piston pump is positioned on the drive console and is connected to the motor and pump mount via a coupling. The press frame is extremely robust and torsion-resistant, constructed from welded steel. The bolster table is bolted to the frame. The hydraulic cylinders are mounted on top of the press frame and are guided in the correct direction via the mounting holes. The piston is connected to the piston rods with a segmented ring. Four-sided, diagonal, flat grooves in the frame ensure highly precise movement.

The hydraulic cylinders are made from high-quality materials and are rated for high pressures. The piston rods are ground and hard-chrome plated. The cylinder tubes are internally honed. Durable high-quality seals guarantee exceptional sealing performance over many years. The piston rods are guided by guide strips, which are highly resistant to wear and offer long service life. The control system contains the control, command, and monitoring devices for all control units. Interlocking mechanisms ensure that two program processes cannot run simultaneously. The electrical control system is housed in a sealed switch cabinet.
