The milling for the cross muntin is completed in a single operation by an upper and a lower milling unit, with the cut-out processed by a third milling unit. Once the workpiece is inserted, clamping is automatic at the push of a button, the cross muntin is milled, and the workpiece released.
With an additional front grooving unit (the fourth unit), cross muntins can be produced completely tear-free on the visible side, even on pre-profiled muntins. Thus, high fitting accuracy of all cross muntins manufactured with our KSF-2/4 cross muntin milling machine is ensured.
