In bolted, welded, and horizontal configurations, the silos are used for the storage of cement, fly ash, bentonite, and other bulk materials.

Welded Silos
Welded silos are preferred for low storage capacities; they can be assembled and commissioned within 2 hours using a crane. They are primarily chosen for local applications where transport costs are not significant. Semix can manufacture welded silos in capacities ranging from 50 to 150 tons.

Bolted Silos

Bolted silos are preferred due to their compact transport design. These can be shipped in containers to avoid high transport costs. Thanks to their modularity, Semix can manufacture bolted silos in capacities from 100 to 2,000 tons. Semix provides a mechanical specialist to ensure correct assembly of the bolted silo. Semix has already installed bolted silos in Peru, Israel, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
