Hydraulic briquetting presses turn wood waste, shavings or paper dust into convenient briquettes that are easy to transport, store, or recycle.

The problems associated with storage and further processing of loose production waste are clear. Loose shavings or dust take up space, are difficult to dispose of, and pose a considerable fire risk. Briquetting allows for the low-dust, cost-effective, and extremely space-saving disposal of dust and shavings. The cost and safety issues are practically resolved automatically.

Through hydraulic compaction, loose shavings, dust, or paper snippets are pressed into briquette form. Depending on the type of shavings, the volume can be reduced to as little as 1/5 of its original amount. Briquettes are easier to transport and can be stored effortlessly in minimal space.

A briquetting press allows for a wide variety of materials to be processed into briquettes, reintroducing them into the economic cycle. Depending on the type, moisture content, and bulk density of the shavings, approximately 30 to 250 kg of material per hour can be processed into briquettes.

The loading of a briquetting system can be adapted in various ways, including integration with existing equipment, offering an easy entry into the recycling of shavings waste.
