Universal Dowel Hole Boring Machine DB 4

This used SCHEER Universal Dowel Hole Boring Machine DB 4 has been function-tested (not newly repainted). All worn parts and seals have been replaced, and the machine geometry was re-adjusted to ensure maximum precision.

The SCHEER Universal Dowel Hole Boring Machine DB 4 is specially designed for structural drilling, row drilling in the 32 mm pitch system, and for drilling various types of fittings; it enables all of these tasks to be carried out quickly, precisely, and with minimal setup times. Operation is straightforward via symbols and a 4-position program pre-selection control, allowing changeover to new work operations in seconds.

Central adjustment of the removable side stops ensures that workpieces are always flush with the front edge, allowing for precise drilling of left and right workpieces. It does not matter whether parts are cut to exact dimensions or at right angles. Corner joints with dowels are always flush both at the edge and on the face—something that even CNC machines can hardly achieve with the ease and speed of a SCHEER DB 4.

Safety clamping system across the entire table width holds the workpieces directly beneath the drilling beam. The guide rail has three adjustable flip stops. Continuous table supports make feeding and drilling long workpieces easier, while fold-up workpiece support tables facilitate row and fitting hole drilling.

For surface and end-face drilling. The vertical drilling unit is equipped with an oil brake for tear-free through-hole drilling in row drilling operations.

The machine's control cabinet has been completely rebuilt and upgraded to the new SIEMENS LOGO! control system, ensuring the long-term operational safety of the machine.
