Accessories / Special Equipment:
A modern CNC control system allows entry of all relevant gear data and part setup via conversational programming. Programming language (German/English) can be switched, DNC interface for data input and output available.
The machine operates in a continuous generating grinding process with fully automatic grinding cycles and automatic on-machine dressing of the grinding wheel.
Equipped with an automatic device for threading the grinding wheel into the gear gap – providing significant time savings, hydraulically pivotable.
Approx. 10 years ago, the profiling axis (V-axis) was electronically retrofitted by BURRI, resulting in higher accuracy, simpler profile correction, faster dressing. Currently, a REISHAUER dressing device Type SP-DR with a profile diamond disc is installed.
The workpiece swivel axis (A-axis) is also operated electronically – fast and precise positioning, hydraulically clamped, enabling faster setup times and simpler workpiece loading.

A shift-grinding unit guides the workpiece tangentially past the grinding wheel during machining, ensuring a consistently uniform grinding wheel profile in contact.

Fully enclosed working area with sliding doors and oil mist extraction
No original coolant filtration system present (central supply), however a separate grinding oil centrifuge is available
