Operation is conveniently controlled via an HMI touchscreen on the front of the machine. The first station of the SER600 consists of a grinding unit. The abrasive belt in this station removes burrs and/or discoloration from the product surface. If there are no burrs present, the grinding belt can be omitted or removed. It is also possible to use a finer grinding belt or finish with a Scotch-Brite belt. The second and third stations consist of a disc brush unit with 4 oscillating disc brushes. The fourth and fifth stations are fitted with 2 round brushes rotating in opposite directions. These brushes are used to remove sharp edges from the product by breaking edges or, through the unique combination of two brush systems, by creating a radius of up to R=3 mm. By installing special brushes, the SER600 with magnetic system is also ideally suited for removing the oxide layer from steel products or slag from plasma-cut products.
