The PORĘBA TR-135 lathe is a universal machine tool designed for both roughing and finishing operations. It is ideally suited for turning shafts as well as heavy and oversized components.

The machine offered is currently undergoing a complete overhaul – the last photograph shows its present state. The remaining photos depict TR series lathes after overhauls carried out by our company and delivered to end users, serving as a reference for the target quality and workmanship standard.

Scope of overhaul:
- Complete disassembly of the lathe
- Refurbishment and replacement of worn components
- Calibration of leadscrews and manufacturing of new bronze nuts
- Replacement of all bearings and plain bearings, including new spindle bearings
- Grinding of bedways, cross slides, and compound slides, followed by hand scraping of mating surfaces (using friction materials)
- Refurbishment of the tailstock quill
- Refurbishment of the tool post
- Overhaul and modernization of lubrication and cooling systems
- Electrical scope: manufacturing a new control cabinet, complete new wiring of the machine, and replacement of all electrical components with new ones
- Inspection of electric motors and replacement of bearings with new ones
- New paintwork
- After completion of the overhaul: trial assembly, preliminary acceptance at our facility, installation on foundation, leveling, and final acceptance
- Adaptation of the lathe to meet minimum safety requirements in accordance with applicable EU Directives
