This UPS system is ideally suited for uninterrupted operation under demanding environmental conditions, as often encountered in industrial applications. Suitable for stabilising, among other things, power supply systems.

The UPS unit consists of the Powerbridge (a flywheel with an attached generator) and a Uniblock (electromotor/generator unit).
The Uniblock supplies power to the customer modules in the absence of any mains fault. The Powerbridge serves as an energy storage device.
In the event of a mains failure, the Powerbridge temporarily takes over the power supply (at full load, the supply is maintained for 39 seconds).
Energy storage type PB60+ with a bridging time of 39 sec.

A diesel engine is coupled via a freewheel clutch. This means that as soon as the engine reaches the speed of the Uniblock, it accelerates the generator to synchronous speed and thus takes over the power supply. (At the same time, the Powerbridge is recharged)
