Peletto EGK-60 Getreide-Extruder

The EGK-60 grain extruder is designed to improve feed quality and produce high-quality feed to significantly enhance animal growth and increase milk yield. The extruder transforms grains into a foamed mass in the form of small sticks or flakes. Anti-nutritional factors present in legumes are deactivated. High temperatures disinfect the feed, killing harmful microflora, fungi, and pathogenic bacteria to which young animals and chicks are especially sensitive.

Additionally, under pressure and heat, starch components that are difficult for the digestive tract to process are converted into lighter and simpler carbohydrates and sugars. Vitamins and all other nutrients are preserved, as the exposure to temperature is very brief, occurring in a fraction of a second. Thus, animals do not lose vitality during feed digestion and can channel all their energy into weight gain and increased milk production. The feed’s digestibility for animals is 90%.

The finished product is ideal for transport and storage, as it does not dissolve or crumble.
