About the Machine:

Offered here is a used Mikron WF 3S universal milling machine. It features a Heidenhain path control TNC 114, allowing it to traverse a programmed distance in any axis (X, Y, or Z) and stop automatically upon reaching the setpoint. Up to 4 different zero points can be set; dimensions can be entered either as absolute or incremental values. The feed rate is continuously variable from 0-750 mm and can be regulated even during milling operations; rapid traverse is possible at the push of a button. The spindle speed is adjustable in steps from 50 rpm to 2240 rpm, but only when at a standstill. The vertical milling head is mounted with three screws and can be removed or reattached within just 2 minutes; it is manually fastened with the articulated arm visible on the left side of the machine and simply swung aside. A special feature of this machine is its large travel distances relative to its compact size: Z=380 mm, X=500 mm, and Y=500 mm. Additionally, the machine is equipped with electronic protection for the vertical spindle. Both mechanically and electrically tested.
