Attention – Do not purchase used metallography equipment! Anyone familiar with metallography understands: in this field, 'used' unfortunately often means 'worn out.' Unless these devices are cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis, the stress placed on them typically results in complete failure after just a few years of use.

The ECOPRESS 102 is an automatic hot mounting press with an electrohydraulic pressure system, which means a separate compressed air connection is not required. The operating pressure can reach up to 300 bar and the embedding temperature up to 200°C. The embedding time is programmable and can be set for up to 60 minutes. With fully automatic program operation and integrated automatic cooling, short cycle times are achieved: thermostatically controlled heating and cooling times, 1650 W heating power, automatic cooling cycle.

The ECOPRESS 102 mounting press is delivered with one pressing cylinder and one piston (optional: intermediate piston for two samples) with a diameter of 25 / 30 / 40 / 50 mm (as well as inch sizes). (The EXOPRESS 202 features two mounting cylinders.) Completion of the embedding process is acoustically indicated by the device. Delivery is ready for operation (including mounting cylinder, piston, and intermediate piston for two samples as required for your application). Necessary connections: 230V / 50 Hz, single phase (220V), water inlet and outlet.
