Aprašymas
The Marinus Powermax Finger Jointer Line profiles horizontally, applies adhesive, cuts out defects, presses, and cuts to length. This unique process produces a clean joint that requires no reworking.
About the Finger Jointer:
When loading timber into the machine, it is possible to mark defects such as knots or cracks with a fluorescent wax crayon. The machine cuts out these defects, including the crayon markings. For example, this allows you to produce cladding or panels free of knots or holes. Before profiling and also before pressing, the timber is brought into a stationary position, laterally secured, and firmly clamped against a precise reference surface at the top. This results in an extremely precise finger joint with a flat joint surface and a straight finished product. Due to this level of precision, the timber (for most applications) does not require further planing or sanding. The adhesive applicator is attached to the carriage with the profile cutters. Adhesive is applied during the return stroke of the profiling carriage. The use of PU adhesive ensures a very strong bond, making it suitable for outdoor use and humid environments. While most other finger jointing machines feed timber across (perpendicular to) the profiling heads, the Marinus Finger Jointer moves the timber lengthwise (longitudinally) through the machine. This allows for feeding in long lengths of 6 metres or more. As a result, the machine can process all the timber, including longer pieces, and use it completely (except for the defects) for the jointed end product. No good timber is turned into short waste pieces. While other finger jointing machines focus on reusing short offcut pieces, the Marinus eliminates the production of waste wood. The Marinus Finger Jointer contributes to an efficient and sustainable manufacturing process.
